Deutsche Bahn has just stopped the ICE 886 train from Munich to Hamburg, Nuremberg after a 1.5-hour journey. The reason – and now please fasten the belts: the train is too dirty to continue the journey! It’s not a joke.

This is not the first case of this type on this route. In April 2024, another ICE composition was detained in Nuremberg after passengers noticed mice in one of the compartments. At that time, however, the train continued his journey after emptying and closing the contaminated wagon.
