The CNA suspends Romania TV again
Made in the public meeting on 02.05.2025, the National Audiovisual Council analyzed the monitoring report prepared by the Monitoring Directorate, as a result of the self -assessment and the notifications received, for the ‘Culminating Point’ of 01.05.2025.
Noting the violation of the provisions of art. 3 para. (2) of the Audiovisual Law no. 504/2002, as well as the provisions of art. 64 para. (1) letter. b), art. 65 letter. c) and of art. 40 para. (2) of the Code of regulation of the audiovisual content, the Council decided to sanction Romania TV with the broadcaster to broadcast, on 03.05.2025, for 10 minutes, between 19.00 and 19.10, only the text of the sanction decision.
Among the titles displayed: ‘The images that shake the choices’; ‘The politicians of the system with empty women on the knees’; ‘They have fun with little girls while the people suffer’; ‘Women naked and cocaine in raps villas’; ‘The pawns of Crin, the high school students and the prostitutes’; ‘Focoasa on Crin Antonescu’s couch’; ‘Grindeanu promoted the focosa from Crin’.
The CNA made a similar decision against RTV and April 24, and the post interrupted its broadcast on May 1st.
According to the CNA, the post violated the provisions of art. 3 para. (2) of the Audiovisual Law no. 504/2002, as well as the provisions of art. 64 para. (1) letter. a), b) and of art. 65 letter. a), b) of the Code of regulation of the audiovisual content. The news shows broadcast between 27.03-01.04.2025 and 15-17.04.2025 were considered. Among the titles displayed were: ‘Secret connection Laura Vicol-Sorin Grindeanu’, ‘What Grindeanu says about the wedding with Laura Vicol’ (show ‘Romania in the report’ of 27.03.2025); ‘Grindeanu, crazy about sexual games with wives at meals’ (‘Culminating’ of 27.03.2025); ‘Laura Vicol Dubious relations with Leo carrying bags with money’ (‘News TV’, 11:00, from 31.03.2025); ‘As Crin was recruited, how much money he received from the Security’, ‘Porumbacu Crin is confused in explanations, where he lies’, ‘follows: the statements given by lily to security about colleague’, ‘follows: the file of the lily founder, the system blocks the access’, ‘follows: the disclosure that shatters the Crin’ ‘The two problems in Crin’s note at the Security’; ‘How he sent the security for me to all friends’; ‘What services has offered the security for the security safety’; ‘Proof of Crin’s lie in official documents.
