The City of Zagreb procured 38 new vehicles for city kindergartens
The City of Zagreb has purchased 38 new vehicles for city children’s kindergartens, which will be used for the transport of food, materials and equipment among kindergarten facilities, the City Administration reported, stating that the investment is crucial for the smooth functioning of educational work.
The investment is crucial for the smooth functioning of educational work, preparation and delivery of meals and maintaining all operational activities in the pre-school system, and it significantly modernizes the existing kindergarten fleet, whose average age was more than 12 years before this procurement.
The total value of the investment is almost one million euros.
« The kindergarten fleet has about 120 vehicles, which means that this investment has been renovated as many as a third of the total fleet of our kindergartens. This is one in a series of comprehensive investments in the pre -school system we expand, improve and modernize every aspect of their business, » said Mayor Tomislav Tomasevic.
He said that they continue to work that kindergartens have the best possible conditions, whether it is space, nutrition or logistics.
Sixty kindergartens in Zagreb operates on as many as 240 locations across the city, which is why such easy economic vehicles are necessary to ensure and raise the quality of educational work and stay of children in kindergartens, they say in the city.
