The donations, organized by the Center Party, associated with the upcoming local elections, turned out to be successful – thanks to 700 donors, 70,000 euros were gathering, thanks to the BNS, BNS reports.
“I thank all the current and future donors for helping the Center Party to prepare even more efficiently for elections to local authorities,” said the party chairman Mikhail Kylvart. – The Center party goes to the polls to win and thereby help improve the well -being of the inhabitants of Estonia. This is a general rehearsal before the parliamentary elections, and the growth of support over the past weeks indicates that the Center Party is an alternative to the parties ruling today. ”
According to Kylvart, no other party had previously held such a large -scale campaign to collect donations. “In many other countries, funding among supporters is a common practice,” he said. “Positive feedback shows that people believe in the Center Party, and support our priorities, including the struggle against the autonalog, reducing the NSO rate for food and counteracting the construction of naval windows, which serves only the interests of individual entrepreneurs.”
The leader of the Center Party added that 70,000 euros were collected due to donations from private individuals, many of whom are not members of the party. “Our supporters made a fuse, and many of them promised to do this monthly. People are tired of raising taxes and an arrogant relation of the government, and the expectation of a more human policy is great, ”Kyulvart emphasized.
