The CEC received 19 delegations from electoral management bodies


The Central Election Commission received 19 delegations from the electoral management bodies of different countries of the world and the organizations operating in the field of elections.

CEC representatives from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, Gjerogia, Croatia, Kosovo, Lithuania, Moldova, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Finland, Sweden, Turkey and the World Electoral Organization are in our country under the « International Observer Program » CEC.

The CEC introduced them to the preparations of the electoral process, the way the second and third level election commissions are operated, monitoring the election campaign, the stages and the progress of the electronic voting process, the electronic identification of voters, voting and electronic counting.

The CEC also introduced a full picture of the measures taken to guarantee the integrity of the process and the transparency of electoral administration.

They were also introduced to the institutional efforts together with the SPAK and the General Prosecutor’s Office to combat electoral crimes and avoid the use of state resources in the campaign.

The program of international observers aims to present not only the Albanian experience of preparation, management and administration of electoral processes, but also to provide the experience of successful innovations that Albania has implemented in electoral processes such as electronic electronic identification and external voting.

The delegations of the electoral management bodies will observe the election day and become familiar with some of the tourist and cultural points of our country.
