The Cat Catcher – Blikk celebrates with a star parade

A real cult movie comes to life on stage. On June 6th, the audience will see the musical version of the cat trap at the József Attila Theater. The jubilee performance will be a worthy celebration of the legendary cartoon and, of course, the theater transcript, which conquered viewers with stars, catchy tunes and a rolling visual.

Szente Vajk, the director of the piece, said the special occasion:

« For me, the cat catcher has always been more than a cartoon – an iconic tale that connects generations. When we dreamed of the stage, our goal was to preserve the unique atmosphere that made it so lovable, but add something new. Everyone enjoys grandparents – this piece really finds the way to the heart of all ages. ”

Not only does the piece reclaim the 80s generation to his childhood, but also a real treat for the younger ones. The secret agent, Grabowski’s mouse comrade, has become a common memory of generations and is now conquering as a theatrical super production.

And who can we see on stage? The main roles of the play appear in well -known and recognized actors like Pál Feke, Péter Puskás, Anna Fehér, Béla Szerednyei, Zalán Makranczi, Balázs FilTo Károly Peller, Quintus Konrad – to name just a few names from the cast. They are the ones who bring to life the well -known characters and bring a new color to the iconic story.

The scenery and costumes are unique and special, and the visuals are cinematic. In 2022 the XIII. At the Hungarian Theater Summer Festival, the Best Costume Award was awarded to Yvette Kovács Alida for his excellent work in the production. Songs, humor, action and nostalgia are the perfect mix.
