The capital bus stops should become more modern
The bus stops in the area of the city of Luxembourg are already partially equipped with digital information boards: these could become even more modern in the future. The city of Luxembourg has launched a six -month test phase for a new version of the so -called « DFI », dynamic passenger information.
An example can be seen at the stop at the boulevard Royal. These installations will also be available at the stop Bathroom and Roosevelt are used.

As the press office of the city of Luxembourg reports on LW demand, these screens have advantages – for the passenger and for the bus service – compared to the older version: they are colored, the bus service has greater access to the information that is published there and this text is no longer limited when it comes to characters.

If the system prove itself, the advertising boards in the area of the city of Luxembourg will be replaced. At the large stops such as Hamilius, Gare or Monterey, larger screens like the current ones come in the test. These are more used for smaller stops – « The user can then read the text better and also from a greater distance », as it says from the fairy tale.
