Bratislava West Gate has already received a second positive opinion.

In the development world, time is that time is money. The way from thought to the beginning of construction sometimes lasts for years. The delay usually causes a lengthy authorization to which the inhabitants from the surrounding area are often used to enter their objections.

Occasionally, however, curious situations also appear in the permitting process. One such occurred in the approval of the project BWG apartment house to grow up in Bratislava on the street to Železná studienka.

On the second attempt

Even in 2023, Bratislava West Gate contacted the municipality with a project that was the working name of the apartment building BWG. The city judged it and noted that it was in accordance with the zoning plan.

However, he did not give a positive binding opinion, as the investor called on the completion of the project documentation in terms of the creation of public spaces and the transport solution.

The investor thus reworked the intention and in October 2023 the city presented a new one. In it he counted that in the Bratislava district of Staré Mesto will grow an apartment house with one underground and six above -ground floors.

The object was solved on a common rootstock, consisting of one underground and one floor. From the third floor, the building was divided into two separate materials, one should have five and the other six floors.

28 housing units were planned in the building. The complex was to operate a parking lot for 55 cars. The city issued a binding opinion for it in February last year.

New calculations

However, the project appeared on the table of the municipality last February. Reason?
