They concerned the transfer of a bust from Levoča, which took place in the accompaniment of the hoods last Thursday. The rare work is attributed to Italian artist Donatell.
Opposition MPs initiated an extraordinary negotiation to transport the bust Cecilia Gonzag. They had several questions about him. They criticized the procedure for transporting. They thought there could be a violation of the law.

Maškarová confirmed that the bust was transferred from Levoča to the center of safety and technical activities of the Interior Ministry in Topoľčianky.
State Secretary Bernatak said that he himself did not know about the transport of the bust and at the Ministry of Culture he had only a narrow circle of people.
He noted that civil servant Lukáš Machala found himself there by chance. At that time, Machala was supposed to be at the Spiš Castle. He did not enter the depository or other rooms, where he was not authorized.
However, in the reportage of TV Levoča, which was the only medium, they said that Machala supervised the whole transport of the bust. He is on shots of TV in a sweatshirt, he has a hood on his head and holds his hands mobile phone.

The transport company that transported the bust of Cecilia Gonzaga was insured by the Austrian insurance company. According to Bernatak, no one was able to insure it in Slovakia.
MEPs were also interested in what will happen to the bust now. Bernatak reiterated several times that we do not have laboratories in Slovakia, where it could be explored and evaluated whether the bust is right. They want to put it in foreign expert institutions, for example in Italy.

The fact that the bust is to be explored by Italian art experts was also told by a source close to the museum shortly after its transport.
Three months
State Secretary Bernatak said he would like to be the best if the bust stayed in Levoča, but it is not up to him. According to him, the expert team must sit and say that the exhibition in Levoča is fine.
He also said that there was a security incident in the museum on February 25th and therefore preparations for the transfer of bust was underway.
MEPs blamed the State Secretary for taking up to three months to take the bust after this « threat » from the museum away.
