The bridge at Bashino Selo will allow movement after one lane in the middle
A temporary traffic regime will be introduced to allow a traffic lane in the middle of the Vardar Bridge on the regional road Bashino Selo Veles. On the bridge, which was completely closed for traffic in early January due to impaired stability, remediation activities are taking place.
The Public Enterprise for State Roads tonight reported that on the basis of approval for a temporary change of traffic regime during the rehabilitation of the Vardar River Bridge on the regional road R1312 section: Bashino Selo – Veles, will put it in temporary traffic regime.
« The temporary traffic regime will be carried out in accordance with the drafted traffic project for temporary traffic and by installing appropriate traffic signaling and road equipment, and the traffic movement will be regulated by light signaling after a traffic lane along the middle of the bridge. »
The temporary regime will take effect 24 hours after the PESPR notification in the electronic and written media is published.
The bridge of the Vardar River on the regional road R1312, near Bashino Selo is closed for all kinds of traffic due to impaired stability. The bridge remediation will cost 320,000 euros.
