The best schoolchildren and teachers were honored in Narva
On May 28, a ceremony of awarding of students and teachers who distinguished themselves in this academic year in international and republican olympiads and competitions was held in the Narva Tar. To the event 42 students and 21 teachers from Narva schools were invited, reports Narva Goroprava.
With a congratulatory speech, the mayor of the city of Katri Raik addressed the participants. She noted that the successes of schoolchildren are not only personal achievements, but also a contribution to the future of the education of Narva and all of Estonia.
Among the educational institutions whose pupils have achieved outstanding results are the Narva Language Lyceum, the Narva gymnasium, the Narva Estonian gymnasium, the Pyakhklmye and Krenholm schools, as well as the Vanalinna Basic School.
This school year, Narva schoolchildren won about 40 prizes at various Olympiads, including the first 5 places. The results in mathematics, chemistry, robotics, philosophy, religious studies, astronomy, as well as in Estonian and German languages are especially highly appreciated. In addition, four school sports teams showed excellent results in republican competitions.

• Bronislav Shatil, Narva Keeltelütseum – I prize in autumn and winter open mathematical competitions; II prize and special awards in the final of the mathematical Olympiad.
• Mark Astahhov, Narva Keeltelütseum – 2nd place on the international mathematical quiz Pangea 2025.
• Kasian Kruptsev, Narva pähklimäe kool – 3rd place in the final of the mathematical Olympiad; II prize in the autumn and IV prize in winter mathematical competitions.
• VARVARA ROGATEN, NARVA RIIGIGYMNAASIUM – 3rd place in the final of the Estonian Olympiad as the second.
• Igor Misnik, Narva Keeltelütseum – 3rd place in the final of the Olympiad in Estonian literature.
• Arsen Bogens, Narva Keeltelütseum – 3rd place on the international mathematical quiz Pangea 2025.
• Artjom Jakovlev, Narva Keeltelütseum – 3rd place on the international mathematical quiz Pangea 2025.
• IVAN DUKATš, NARVA Keeltelütseum – 4th place in the final of the mathematical Olympiad; II prize at the winter and III prize at autumn mathematical competitions; 10th place in the Känguru competition.
• Arseni Derkun, Narva Keeltelütseum – II prize in the final of the mathematical Olympiad.
• Artjom Jemeljanov, Narva Eesti Gümnaasium – 5th place in the final of the chemistry Olympiad; 9th place in the philosophical Olympiad; 9th place in an open physical competition; 10-11 place in the Olympiad in religious studies; 11th place in the final of the Olympiad in German.
• DARJA Jepifanova, Narva Keeltelütseum – 5th place in the Kobras informatics quiz.
• Alli-Riin Pärtels, Narva Eesti Gümnaasium-6-7th place in the religious department (according to the results of the preliminary round).
