The battle for Romania started!

Start vote in Romania! Tour 2 of the poll for the position of president of Romania has begun. Nearly 18 million voters are expected at the ballot box to choose their president for the next five years of the two candidates in the final race for Cotroceni.

In the country, the voting takes place in a single day-today. Abroad, Romanians have been voting for two days. All sections should open at the local time of Romania 7:00 and close at the local time of Romania 21:00.

Voters who at 21:00 are waiting to vote in a row can exercise their right to choose until 23:59 at the latest.

Both in the case of the polling stations abroad, as well as in the case of the country, at 21:00 or at the local time of Romania 21:00, as the case may be, two members of the electoral bureau of the polling station, appointed by the president of the respective electoral office, verify whether in the headquarters of the section and/or outside it there are voters who are in the vicinity.

If at 21:00 local time or at the local time of Romania 21:00, as the case may be, in the headquarters of the section and/or outside it there are voters who are in a row, the two members of the electoral bureau perform the following operations:

* counts the voters in a row at 21:00 local time or at the local time of Romania, as the case may be;

* hand over the order vouchers to the voters in a row at 21:00 or at the local time of Romania, as the case may be, on which the control stamp of the polling station or its equivalent, as the case may be;

* records the number of voters in a row in a finding report;

* I teach the minutes of the president of the Electoral Bureau of the polling station, which immediately communicates, by any means, to the County Electoral Bureau, to the Electoral Bureau of the Bucharest municipality or the electoral bureau for the polling stations abroad, as the case may be, the number of voters in a row;

* remain outside the voting premises to monitor the order of access within it;

* Prohibits other persons from sitting in a row to exercise their right to vote after the local time 21:00 or the local time of Romania 21:00, as the case may be.

Prior to the exercise of the right to vote, the voters in this situation teach to the electoral bureau of the polling station the vouchers received.

Abroad, Romanians have been voting for two days.

Today, the third day of the poll abroad, voting abroad ends as follows:

* The sections organized in areas whose time zone is advanced compared to that of Romania (the local time will be reached before Romania reaches the respective time) are closed at 21:00 local time. In this situation, the voters who at 21:00 are at the headquarters of the polling station abroad, as well as those who are in a row outside the section headquarters to enter the voting premises can exercise their right to choose until the latest at 23:59;

* The sections organized in areas located on the same time zone as that of Romania (will be reached at 21:00 at the same time) are closed at 21:00. In this situation, the voters in a row can vote until the latest at 23:59;

* The polling stations organized in areas whose time zone is returned to that of Romania (the local time will be reached after the moment when Romania reaches the respective time) are closed at the local time of Romania 21:00. And in this situation, the voters who at the local time of Romania are located at the headquarters of the polling station abroad, as well as those who are in a row can vote until the latest at the local time of Romania 23:59.
