Albanian men’s basketball has only one name: Covenant of Lezha. The team led by Shkodra coach Afrim Bilali has written another glorious chapter in its history, winning the second championship title in the Albanian Super League, and this time in the most spectacular way possible-with total dominance throughout the season and with a sensitive lead in the « play-off » finals.

Final « Without many stories »: 3 matches, 3 convincing wins

The Covenant closed the final series to Teuta 3-0, scoring over 120 points in each match and winning with differences that are not common for a final level.

Total difference: +186 points in three finals.

These numbers clearly speak of absolute domination and a deep gap between the champions and the rest of the Albanian basketball elite.

A finale turned to the spectacle

On Thursday evening, at the « Asllan Rusi Sports Palace » in Tirana, the Covenant appeared as an unstoppable « machine », « destroying » Teuta with the score of 134-64, the deepest victory of the series.

Marvin Prodan, with 31 points, was the best player of the final, but the triumph was the fruit of an organized, harmonized and eager team for success.

The Covenant dominated all four periods:

Quarter 1: 35-20

Quarter 2: 31-16

Quarter 3: 42-16

Quarter 4: 26-12

This season’s triumph is, of course, the easiest in history in the way it was achieved, but that does not reduce its value at all. On the contrary, the Covenant is setting new standards for professionalism, quality and continuity. Coach Afrim Bilali, with his vision and methodology, has built a group that not only wins but dominates every aspect of the game.

With a consolidated group, a president like Ylli Ujka who is making big investments in this project, the Covenant is turning into a symbol of success and stability in Albanian sport.
