The average price of electricity on Nord Pool on Friday will grow by 19.2% to 109.87 euros
The average cost of electricity in the Estonian price area of the Nord Pool electric lane on Friday compared to Thursday will rise by 19.2% to 109.87 euros for Megavat-hour-this will be the highest price in the Nord Pool system on this day, BNS writes.
In Latvia and Lithuania on Friday, electricity will cost as much as in Estonia. In Finland, it will be much cheaper and its cost will be on average only 3.38 euros per megavatt-hour.
The highest-312.46 euros for Megavatt-hour-the exchange price for electricity will be in Estonia on Friday evening, from 19 to 20 hours, and the lowest-from 12 to 13 hours, when it falls to 10.65 euros.
In February, the average price in the Estonian price area of the Nord Pool amounted to 151.85 euros for megavatt-hour, which is 101.1% more than in February 2024, when the average monthly price amounted to 75.52 euros for megavatt-hour. Compared to January, the average exchange price increased by 65%.
