The average price of electricity on Nord Pool on Friday will fall by 30.4% to 44.08 euros
The average cost of electricity in the Estonian price area of the Nord Pool electric bank on Friday will fall 30.4% to 44.08 euros for Megavatt-hour compared to Thursday, BNS writes.
In Latvia and Lithuania on Friday, electricity will be 20.4 more expensive than in Estonia, an average of 53.07 euros per megavatt-hour. In Finland, it will be the other way around, with a minus sign: an average of -0.49 euros per megavatt -hour. Above all, the cost of electricity in the Nord Pool system on this day will rise in Poland, where it will be an average of 94.07 euros per megavatt-hour.
The highest -148.35 euros for megavatt -hour -the exchange price for electricity will be in Estonia on Friday morning, from 8 to 9 hours, and the lowest -from 15 to 16 hours, when it falls to -1.05 euros. The price will be negative from 10 to 11 and from 13 to 16 hours.
In March, the average price in the Estonian price area of the Nord Pool amounted to 90.20 euros for megavatt-hour, which is 32.1% more than in March 2024, when the average monthly price amounted to 68.26 euros per megavatt-hour. Compared to February, the average exchange price decreased by 40.6%.
