The assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. Declasted information

The US National Archives have published thousands of pages of documents related to the assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, according to the website of the Agency, following the order of President Donald Trump to publish previously classified information.

The National Archives have published over 10,000 pages of documents in connection with Kennedy’s killing, according to details published on Friday on their website.

The measure is part of a broader effort of the Trump administration to declasify information about the assassination of a number of famous Americans.

The agency previously published records related to the murder of the president of John F. Kennedy in 1963, who was killed a few years before the senator, his brother.

« Raising the veil on documents about RFK is a necessary step towards restoring confidence in the American government, » said US Secretary for Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the son of the senator.

The head of the Health Department previously said that he believes that his father was killed by several armed people, a statement that contradicts official reports.

The Trump administration also promised to declassify the records related to the assassination of the leader for civil rights Martin Luther King Jr.

National Archives have not responded to a comment request regarding the moment when the file is being published about King or if other files are published on the killing of the Kennedy brothers
