The assassination has become a weapon. The Prime Minister is attacking the media and the opposition

Robert Fico even wants to rewrite the story of the murder of Ján Kuciak and Martina Kušnírová. Paradoxically, the story of the assassination became a weapon used by the Prime Minister to weaken progressive Slovakia and other opposition. The story of how Fico shot the opposition activist connected to the Democrats side, a hucked media, has a refrain: the company is full of hatred.

Robert Fico offers only one thing – his critics will now be silent forever. No one will punish him for his opinions. The media will not control it, because also control by journalists is hatred. For example, Ľuboš Blaha does not refrain from his language – after all, Blaha « expresses his opinion ». Like Daniel Bombic, who is « just sharing his view of the matter » when he publishes photos of journalists and Hucka against them of his fans.

Fico is always angrily enclosed if journalists attribute him to « feelings » or attitudes he does not have. He has no trauma, he has no mental problems. But the Prime Minister, without hesitation, attributes « desires » to journalists: According to him, they are sorry to survive.

In an uncritical interview for Plus ONE DAY – without factual counter -question by the editor – Fico in an infinite monologue also claims that « there were editors such as SME daily or daily N, where they were doing bets, or survive, or not to survive, and enjoyed such something at all ». He said he has internal information. Then the Prime Minister has bad. I sat here with my colleagues all the time and worried about Robert Fico’s life. But empathetic journalists are not suitable for this story.

After the murder of Ján Kuciak, the government blamed journalists of the abuse of the tragedy – when they recalled hateful speeches that have long been heard from Robert Fico. When they said that he co -created an atmosphere in which the regime protector seemed admissible to order a journalist’s murder.

On the day of the memory of the assassination, Robert Fico fog even more, which is hatred, which is a bullshit, which is criticism and what is control. If the links that we journalists have received in recent years were not so vulgar, I would share them – as an illustration of how hate that politicians are spreading.

Fico and his people have not offered any real solutions. They did not offer them because the hatred will not cease. This is how they set the way to communicate with their voters. It is unimaginable for them that they should explain to them peacefully, without attacks and vulgarisms why they do not get better health care, why they are declining or why they pay more for food.

There will not be a reconciliation, we will saddle the trauma

The Prime Minister decided that there would be no reconciliation until every criticism and the nation as one body does not adhere to the Prime Minister and would not support him in every way on his way. However, democracy is not adapted to this type of reconciliation if the injured leader actually decomposes it.

Since then, government officials have been trying to squeeze out the last drops of blood from this tragedy to deter opposition and journalists from government criticism. They do not want to treat collective trauma, they want to deepen it, they want voters to have a constant feeling of threat, they want them to be identified with Fico’s wounds. They want this trauma to work in their favor. But social traumas serve their breadwinners only temporarily. And they always bring a worsening of the atmosphere in society.
