The art of the street at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina – Culture

The idea of ​​the exhibition is parallel to present the rich production of Murals elected artists in the context of their gallery works.

Murals were presented on the screens, while other artworks (pictures, drawings, illustrations, sculptures, etc.) are traditionally exposed in modern gallery conditions, which gives a broader insight into artistic activities of authors, as well as (one of) a picture of a modern artistic moment.

This will be an opportunity for audience to see and feel the works of domestic artists of the younger generation, which is already very present on the domestic scene, but also the European art market.

The works of these artists represent a new way of artistic research, which through painting reviews the exit from the domain of the image, with increased action on the sensor sensor and general manifestation of new sensibility.

The artists express a different attitude towards a new more painless accepting, while the time of their ancestors look like a latent process of crossing and colliding old and new and newly and new.

Thus, the art today in their works are placed between the negation of natural and derision by rational.

A new generation of artists, as already numerous before them, nurtures paradox and vagueness, from aesthetics to colorite, through extremely standardized, now traditional painting media.

Relying on Pop and Anderground Culture, as well as in modern figuration, these artists achieve their artistic and visual worlds, without prejudice and respect the tradition from which they draw inspiration.

They have already stable artistic careers, are solidly integrated into society and cover several areas of contemporary artists – as free artists, activists and « multimedia workers », art schools and artists in the IT sector.

In parallel with the exhibition, more interactive programs and events – leadership through the exhibition, children’s and youth, presentation and painting of new Mural – Street Art Alive, Concerts and Festival Slem Poetry will be organized.

Exhibition of the art of the street, in MSUV will be available to the audience to 3. August.
