The application for financial support of 1,000 denars per month for electricity – the deadline until April 19 is underway
The Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Raw materials informs that the public announcement for financial support for consumed electricity for 2025, intended for citizens falling into the category of vulnerable energy consumers, is ongoing.
Financial support by reducing the monthly electricity account is 1,000 denars per month and is approved for a period of 12 months, starting from the date of submission of the request. The registration lasts 30 days from the day of the announcement (until April 19). They urge all citizens who meet the requirements to apply on time and not to miss this opportunity to reduce electricity costs.
The right to support is: households with one or more children with disabilities, beneficiaries of a special allowance, with total net income in 2024 below the established limits (from 42,000 to 80,000 denars, according to the number of members) and persons carers, beneficiaries of foster care, whose income does not exceed 42,000 denars.
Those who are already receiving a monetary allowance for energy or financial support for the elderly are not covered by this measure.
The application for financial support is submitted with a filled form (form 1 or 2) and associated documentation. The forms are available in the archive of the Ministry and the website: www.ea.gov.mk.
The request needs to submit the following documents: notarized statement for accuracy of the documentation attached, photocopy of a decision for the right to a special allowance or foster care, photocopy of the last electricity account, photocopy of the applicant’s ID and evidence of household members.
