The animated movie Straume Communication Campaign gets two gold prizes MI: T& Links Baltic Communication Awards 2025 / Day
The distribution campaign of the movie « Straume » took place in a difficult time when Covid-19 pandemic in Latvia was one of the lowest cinema attendance in the Baltics. Local films had great difficulty in reaching a wider audience. Recognizing this context, the campaign aims not only to promote ticket sales, but also to restore the public interest in Latvian cinema and to strengthen the « Stream » as an important cultural event.
Matisse Kaza, producer of « Straume », admits: « Part of the success of » Straume « lies in a thoughtful marketing and communication campaign, which allowed the film to become a Latvian record holder in terms of cinema viewers.
