The American opposition wears lazy jeans
If anyone is wondering what the political opposition in the United States is doing right now, the answer is: they are on a celebrated tour.
Or rather, two political stars on the left flank travel around the United States and hold popular political big meetings. Independent 83-year-old Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont and Democratic 35-year-old congressman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York.

Speech as in shortT is based on the (ultra) rich shoes at the expense of the common man. The system must therefore be redone to become more fair. Tax the rich!

Unlike the Democratic Party, which is feverishly looking for a unifying message that can make voters end up around them, here is an easy -to -understand one.

The glamor factor in this case is non -existent
Another is that Bernie Sanders invited Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as a kind of peppy dressing, or perhaps rather as a strengthening compartment.
She is one of the Democratic Party’s best speakers who can convincingly tell about her own background as a waitress and bartender in New York, one of America’s most expensive cities. In short, she has her own experience of struggling to get the private economy together.
As a congressman in Washington, DC, she has spoken warmly to increase the minimum wages and tax the richest.
During the tour, reinforces Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez each other’s messages and they do the clarified almost the same, in unbuttoned shirts and sacking blue pants. Chinos for Bernie, jeans for Alexandria.
Unlike the Republican’s rolling for women with lots of branches, large hair and short -cut pomaded hairstyles, and wide ties with dual windsor knots for men, the glamor factor in this case is non -existent.
Rather, Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are reminiscent of the jeans-clad boogie rock in the status quo.
Which of course is the point. Yes, not that they should resemble the band Status Quo. But to keep a similar dimmed style in terms of clothing.
Bernie Sanders has certainly always done this. He proudly carries costumes from low -price brands. But Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has rather been recognized for its creepy feminine style and red lipstick. Extra attention was paid to her white evening dress with the words « Tax the Rich » embroidered with large red capital letters on the back side during the Met gala 2021.
That she is now acting In relaxed jeans, in a high waist model that some call « mom jeans », and not in a kind way, have therefore not gone unnoticed.
But many seem to like it.

However, the fact that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would become the Democrats candidate in the next election, many consider many as unlikely. She is considered far too radical to win important middle voters.
But who knows. Maybe her choice of jeans voters to think of another unspoken democratic politician who often appeared in the same kind of as popular as mocked jeans model, both before and during her presidency – Barack Obama.
