The amendments to the Law on Secondary Education adopted
The Assembly adopted the Draft Law on Amending the Law on Secondary Education this afternoon, which was voted on by double voting, ie the votes of the present MPs belonging to non-majority communities in the country.
The amendments define provisions that regulate secondary education as institutional, personnel and content organized in a way that provides education for all students, including children with disabilities, forming inclusive teams and support for students with disabilities.
Career counseling provisions, career counselor and practical education coordinator are introduced. The new law also introduces a new conception of exams at the end of secondary education, and for the first time in high schools, student organization and participation is provided.
Last Tuesday, lawmakers adopted six laws of education – the Law on Subsidized Student Meal, which increased the scope of student meal beneficiaries, as well as amendments to the Law on Primary Education and the Law on Textbooks for Primary and Secondary Education, Vocational Education and Training Law.
