About 2,300 patients are treated each year in the intensive care unit of Kaunas Clinics Neurosurgery Department. Persons are treated here after various neurosurgical surgery, suffered multiple bodily injuries, severe brain and spine injuries, cerebrovascular disorders, epilepsy, infectious diseases of the central nervous system, tumors, myasthenia and other neurocritic diseases.
