The US Department of State approved the sale of Poland 400 modern medium-range rockets AIM-120D3 air-type. According to the DSCA agency, subject to the Pentagon, the total cost of the transaction can reach $ 1.33 billion.
According to the announcement, Poland intends to buy not only the missiles themselves, but also 16 guidance sections and other related equipment. These advanced rockets, intended for fighters, can offend goals even 180 kilometers away.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz informed about the decision, writing on portal X that this was proof of effective strategic cooperation between Poland and the USA.
