During a conversation with journalists, the old man remembered his Presence at the Emir Amanullah Chan palace when the British exile was celebrated. « I was over 30 years old, » said Nazir. According to him, the celebrations were full of joy, and in the way to the palace he was accompanied by numerous political figures of the era, which, however, had long died.
Mustagfar Gurbaz, representing the local authorities, explained that SA team of specialists was managed to verify the Nazir age. As he noted: – If the documents or expertise confirms this information, we take steps to recognize him as the oldest person in the world.
The family believes it
The multi -generational family of Nazir believes that the patriarch is indeed 140 years old. His grandchildren, according to relatives, have grandchildren themselves. « His brother and two sisters will exceed a hundred any moment, » said one of Nazir’s grandchildren over fifty -year -olds.
Although the case looks very doubtful, and the man’s age remains a matter of verification, the life of Akel Nazir is already surrounded by legends. The Taliban approach the matter with great attention. If this amazing history is confirmed, Afghanistan may gain a global record holder.
