The accused in the case of a mass accident in Stupino considers the people’s deputy to be guilty
As it became known to Kommersant, investigators of the police near Moscow charged with an accident economist Olga Cherygova. According to investigators, she provoked an accident involving five cars, having left the oncoming lane. The woman who received serious injuries claims that the true culprit was the jeep raising her car under the control of the instructor of the sports and technical club from Stupino and part-time local deputy Yevgeny Chernittsova. At that time, he was in trial for beating during the road quarrel of the head of the Tula cartridge plant and his son, the top manager of the Rosselkhozbank, for which he later received four years of colony-settlement. The ex-deputy himself denies his guilt both in the beating and in an accident, which now has the status of a witness.
The accusation of violation of the Rules of the road that entailed by negligence causing grievous bodily harm (part 1 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the investigator of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs “Ramenskoye” presented to the specialist-economist one of the state-owned companies and the mother of two teenagers Olga Cherygova after a more than year of the preliminary investigation. The accident occurred on the morning of December 8, 2023 on the 112th km of the old Don highway near the village of Luzhniki, which is not far from Stupino. Five cars followed in opposite directions participated in the collision. As a result of the accident, two drivers received severe injuries, one female driver-an average and another motorist-mild severity. In fact, only one man-driver was not injured.
According to the investigation, it was Olga Cherygova, overtaking a tractor, which was dragging along the side of the road, made a trip to the oncoming lane on her BMW X3 crossover, faced with the same counter-instructor of the 40-year-old instructor of the Sokol sports and technical school from the Stupino near Moscow, the deputy of the local City Council Evgeny Chernetsov.
According to investigators, then by inertia the car of the folk chosen one drove several hundred meters in the oncoming lane, in the frontal hitting Kia.
And X3 Olga Cherygova, turning counterclockwise, stopped on the oncoming lane without the rear left wheel, becoming an obstacle to traveling cars, two of which – Mitsubishi Lancer and Ford Focus also collided.
Over the year of investigation, four volumes of a criminal case were collected, the basis of which was an examination conducted by two specialists of the Department of Autotechnical Expertise of the Russian Federal Center for Forensic Expertise (RFCSE) under the Ministry of Justice.
“We categorically disagree with the conclusions of the investigation and experts, we consider them far -fetched, insolvent and not based on the case file,” Olga Cherygova, Anton Fomichev, told Kommersant.
According to him, Olga Cherygova insists that it was the athlete who flew to the oncoming lane, hitting her car. According to the lawyer, the investigation did not conduct modeling of the circumstances of the accident and a number of examinations; I did not send requests to Rosavtodor about the section of the road where the accident occurred, and did not even seize the video of eyewitnesses to the incident. The comments on more than 250 sheets, together with the examinations by us and MADI, in support of the version of Olga Cherygova and the negative reviews of specialists for the conclusions of the Ministry of Justice experts, the defense provided the investigator, but the materials were not introduced to the case, and the corresponding version was not studied.
According to Kommersant, at the time of the accident, Yevgeny Chernitsov was the defendant, and on June 6, 2024, the Stupinsky City Court sentenced him to four years in a penal colony in the case of beatings, causing easy harm to health and hooliganism (Articles 115, 116 and 213 of the Criminal Code), after which he was deprived of the status of a deputy.
According to the materials of the investigation and the court, in April 2023, after the road quarrel in the parking lot near the shopping center in Stupino, Yevgeny Chernitsov cut a jeep and beat his passengers – father and son – Viktor and Evgeny Kashevarov. Father served as head of the board of directors of the Tula cartridge plant, and his son-the top manager of the Rosselkhozbank. The offender of the VIP-Person from the leadership of strategic enterprises was calculated on the cameras of the Safe City system, but he chose to appear in law enforcement agencies himself and write a confession. However, since after the sentence he did not arrive in the colony-settlement, the court at the request of the Federal Penitentiary Service took the person involved.
Evgeny Chernittsov’s lawyer Vladimir Gerasimenko told Kommersant that his client, the father of four children, is now in Kashira in a pre-trial detention center-5 of the regional Federal Penitentiary Service. According to him, the convicted person has the status of a witness in an accident, and Olga Cherygova’s guilt and the conclusions of the investigation have no doubt. “I myself was a forensic investigator and saw characteristic damage on the car of Chernittsov,” the defender explained. In his opinion, now the client was taken into custody unreasonably, making a decree on his search before this, although he allegedly did not hide from anyone. According to the lawyer, the ex-deputy simply tried to complain too actively on the navigation that allegedly in his case about the hooliganism.
As a result, all parties are now busy filing complaints. The representative of Yevgeny Chernitsova writes how he explained “Kommersant”, in the TFR, the prosecutor’s office and the Supreme Court, demanding the recognition of evidence in the case of hooliganism unacceptable and the abolition of the sentence.
“We filed complaints in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the prosecutor’s office to eliminate violations and terminate the criminal prosecution of Olga Cherygova, who barely survived in an accident,” Kommersant said, in turn, Mr. Fomichev.
