The 73-year-old tried to pull dogs behind the car. That’s how much the ticket was
The case got loud two days ago, when a recording from Pniówka Koło Zawiercie in Silesia appeared on the network. The video shows a slowly driving car, followed by two tied older cane corso dogs.
A woman ran to the car, stopped the car and called for the help of policemen. A veterinarian also appeared on the spot.
A fine for the 73-year-old for pulling dogs behind the car in Pszczyna
As it turned out, the dogs previously escaped their owner from the property. After a few hours of searching, the 73-year-old found them in the surrounding meadows. However, he claims that due to health problems he was not able to introduce them to the car. That is why he decided to attach them to the car.
– The man tried to transport dogs by pulling them behind the vehicle, which was noticed by the bus driver. He wanted to help, proposing the transport of pets to the owner’s property, but the animals were aggressive, snarled and could not be tard – says young asp. Jadwiga Śmietana from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Pszczyna.
And he adds that when the police intervention was over, the police decided to escort the 73-year-old with dogs on foot. On the spot, officers assessed that there is no indication that they were treated badly. However, the owner received a fine of PLN 100 for not providing a proper level of safety while caring for animals.
Cane Corso pulled behind the vehicle. Will the owner avoid punishment?
People who saw the moment when the man found dogs in the meadow came to the Cane Corso Rescue Poland Foundation. – They drove up to him and pointed out that what he was doing is punishable. They say he waved his hand at it. Later he arrived on the road, where he was accompanied by a bus. – Praise that this man later followed this gentleman and guarded if the dogs would not fall – tells us Anna Sroka, president of the organization.
As « Fakt » established, the dogs do not live together with the owner on a daily basis, but on the property where the wrecks of the car are located. – To be honest, I don’t know what these dogs are to watch over. The man apparently arrives there once a day to feed them – tells us Anna Sroka.
And he adds that the animals run freely on the property, made a hole in the fence and began to run away. – They have been living there for years. They are apparently thirsty for man – says the head of Cane Corso Rescue Poland. – This gentleman is completely unaware of what the care of animals should look like and nothing and nothing is translated – he adds.
In her opinion, there is no excuse for pulling dogs behind the car. There were also many comments on the network saying that dogs should be taken away from the owner. – This is a hard decision – does not hide the head of the foundation. – It is not good to receive them in old age, they do not know another life. It would be the best if the man took them where he lives so that they would not be alone on the property – he assesses.
