Six prisoners escaped from Saint-Hubert prison on Wednesday, in the province of Luxembourg. On Thursday afternoon the last prisoner was finally arrested. They were not considered particularly dangerous, according to the public prosecutor’s office, and a report from RTL info shows that few people are awake in the city.
« That is quite normal here, » says Baptiste, a young man from the city. « It is a prison break-worthy scenario, but it happens more often. It is a semi-open prison, so some people go on leave and do not return. »
Other residents, such as Natalie, believe that escaped prisoners would remove themselves from the city as quickly as possible. « They are not going to hang around in the city? Oh well, it happens here now and then. We deal with it. » Neither nor more than usual are the inhabitants of the city, someone else entrusts the journalists.
A pizzeria employee is not worried either. « Well, it’s the little Saint-Hubert here. We always know everything. » She is not aware of any harm. « Let them come and eat a pizza here. »
