The Ukrainian company « Motoragistral -South » in partnership with Romanian Precon Transilvania concluded a contract with the state company CNAIR for the construction of the first section of the Arad – Orada highway in Romania.

The cost of the contract is 460 million euros.
The contract was signed in Bucharest. It envisages the construction of the first section of the road 33.7 km long within the strategic European corridor of Via Carpathia, which will connect the Baltic, Black and Mediterranean Sea.
The first section of the road provides for the construction of 32 bridges, solutions and overpasses, including a 727-meter overpass above the railway, as well as two parking lots for charging electric vehicles.
The work period is 24 months.
Mykola Timofeyev’s CEO « Motor Switch » noted that the signing of the contract is a historical event, since the Ukrainian company first participates in a large -scale project of building a new infrastructure in EU countries.
