France. Teacher’s murder. Shocking testimonies of the student
The 14-year-old, according to the French prosecutor’s office, does not show « any signs » suggesting possible mental disorders, but « does not regret any regret or compassion for victims. » The boy testified that he wanted to kill « any » tutor.
At a press conference, prosecutor Denis Devallois assessed that the perpetrator « lost his landmarks when it comes to the value of human life, to which he does not attach special significance. » He added that the boy reveals « some fascination with violence and death. » However, he was not the type of loner and did not spend much time on social media.
The student testified that he wanted to attack the tutor, because « he was generally ending the behavior of the tutors – according to him – treating different students differently. » He did not have a special injury to his victim. A few days earlier, he was admonished by another person from the group of teachers and with the intention of an attack at school he had been wearing from Saturday.
At the end of 2024, he was punished twice for hitting other students. The 14-year-old, as Devallois said, seems « detached » from reality both in terms of the seriousness of the act and the effects for himself.
He faces a penalty of up to 20 years imprisonment.
