Teacher of economy. An important increase in invoices and will be total blockage!

Mircea Coșea draws an alarm signal and says that we need urgently to increase domestic production in the context of high energy price.

An important increase in invoices will lead to a total blockage, says the economist in an intervention at Realitatea Plus.

« What Mr. Burduja says is correct, but it is incomplete. It is not the fault of his reign. The fault is about the previous period when the former Minister of Energy has closed all the production of energy ‘on good horses’. The other countries in Europe did not rush to do this. Mr. Virgil Popescu has been in a great time, but today we do not pay this.

Secondly, the start of the industrial gas extraction in the Black Sea is greatly delayed. Every week we find out that it will start … nothing started. We need urgent need to increase domestic production. We have possibilities, we have resources, we can do this!

If the measures that the Government expect now are applied, it will be even harder. It is strictly my opinion, but I do not agree that we must help those who are disadvantaged. We don’t even know who the disadvantages are. Who pulls the line? At an income of 2000-2500 or even 3000 per month-is it not disadvantaged? (…) The price of energy is the main factor that holds inflation in Romania.

I understand that the Government supports its budget by this, but it is immoral and incorrect for citizens and for the business environment who urgently needs to increase domestic production. It loses its competitiveness.

If there will be an important increase in invoices will be total blockage! Because citizens do not have to pay invoices two to three times larger. And the production companies will go bankrupt, they will not be able to produce, it will be an even more serious situation ”, concludes Mircea Coșea.
