Taxes, so the tax return is compiled with the apps (and costs less)
With the « digital accountants » the times and the costs are often competitive. The cases from Quickfisco to Forfettapp, from Smart Caf to Fiscozen
The group is heterogeneous. There are software developers, marketing experts, bureaucratic facilitators, tax consultants, sellers, managers and taxes. The goal, however, is only one: radically simplifying the tax return for citizens.
I am « digital accountants », groups of professionals with several professional backgrounds who, thanks to the apps (and today also to artificial intelligence), support tax and CAF. They offer fast, safe and lower rates services, to VAT games and soon also to employees and retirees.
In short, the tax returns in an app to download to the computer but also on the smartphone or the tablet.
The funds
A significant example is Quickfisco Srl, a Milanese startup founded in 2020. The English company Albamarle Asset Management entered the capital last March through its own fund, investing one and a half million euros to be paid in three tranches by June 2026.
Among the members of Quickfisco Srl there is Massimo Paolo Gentili, founder of Gentili & Partners, accountant and auditor in Italy and Luxembourg. « This is the future of taxation – he says -. The entrance of the fund will give a decisive push to Quickfisco ».
Quickfisco manages the homonymous app that offers several digital services, from the tax return to electronic invoicing, to the predictive tools for the estimate of taxes. The app can be downloaded on the smartphone with both Apple (iOS) and Android operating systems, you can also access it from the website through the computer (www.quickfisco.it).
« We offer a complete service – explains the general manager and co -founder of the company Gianluca Tirri, 37, graduated in Economics at the University of Siena and Master at the Polytechnic of Milan in Management -. Our team of about thirty people, in fact, manages to Assist the customer in real time by eliminating queues, need for physical appointments, any misunderstandings. It is a new way of managing taxation. You save time and earn in effectiveness, with an increasingly appreciated digital approach from the market ». The service, for now, is aimed at self -employed workers with VAT games in the flat -rate regime, but Quickfisco is about to expand the offer, within a year, to all VAT games, to employees and retirees. The cost is competitive compared to traditional accountants, 365 euros per year for VAT matches under the flat -rate regime. Today the company declares three thousand customers, the goal is to reach 15 thousand in three years.
The market, the offer
The forecast does not seem to be risky. According to the projections of Sensor Data.ai-Sensor Towers, the expenditure in the consumer world through the apps will touch, excluding games, 145 billion dollars in 2030 with an average annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11% (in 2024 the expense was 64 billion). AND The taxman is considered a growing segment. In Italy in 2023 (the 2024 data are not yet available), in general, Purchases via App reached 2.95 billion dollars, with a growth forecast for 7.83 billion dollars by 2030 (CAGR of 15%).
Quickfisco is not the only one to operate in the digital sector of the tax return. There are also apps and services of Smart Caf, 730 Online, Bonusx and Caf Online: Digital CAF who use the apps for the tax return, but do not offer tax consultancy services such as digital accountants. The latter, in fact, are intermediaries authorized by the Revenue Agency to transmit the declarations; At the same time they are suitable for offering a complete accounting and tax management service for natural persons holders of VAT number, through digital platforms that include diversified services such as electronic invoicing. Of the same category, in addition to Quickfisco, there are Forfettapp, Fidocommercialista, Xolo.
Aggregators, artificial intelligence
Finally there are marketplace, aggregating platforms, such as FISCOZEN and FLEXTAXwho are not enabled intermediaries and cannot independently send the tax return, but must use partner accountants. « We are implementing artificial intelligence tools in our software – says Tirri – but with absolute prudence. The use of generative AI as assistant to our tax consultants and customer service operators is probably the best solution to assist customers, but its use must not be invasive. We are also working on Machine learning, to be introduced into our platforms To analyze great volumes of data. The goal is to make predictions about the evolution of our customers’ business. «
