Tax-budgetary measures, phase by groups

Discussions on fiscal-budgetary measures will continue on Wednesday, starting at 3:00 pm, focusing on reducing expenses by analyzing public investments, announced Radu Burnete, who will be a presidential adviser on economic and social issues.

‘Today, the four parties continued the discussions on fiscal-budgetary measures and made progress. The discussions I attended have focused exclusively on reducing expenses, being agreed some important directions and objectives, to be detailed in the following days in specialized working groups. The discussions will continue tomorrow, starting at 3:00 pm, focusing on reducing expenses by analyzing public investments, and then approaching the measures to increase the budget revenues, « Burnete wrote on his Facebook page.

President Nicușor Dan said in Chisinau on Tuesday that the technical discussions on measures to reduce the budget deficit are not in a blockage.

‘The representatives of the parties had technical discussions in which they identified (…) about 60-80 possible measures to reduce the deficit they listed, to some calculated the budget impact. Yesterday was a political discussion on this set of measures and the others who are somehow simpler to agree on the fields corresponding to the other ministries and, following the discussion yesterday, it was considered to be correct in a form in which the political representative, that is, the party leader, and technical and on the economic side. It is not a blockage, it is a technical discussion with obvious effects, which continues today and tomorrow, « said Nicușor Dan.
