Tattoo Tamsin Holly has shared a video on social media Tiktok, where she talks about the three types of tattoos people almost always end up regret – and it’s bad news if you love a particular type of motive.
Tattoos are a very personal way of expressing themselves as the many motives are as diverse as the people who carry them. From powerful colors to cartoon -like illustrations or lifelike portraits – the choice of what you want permanently on your skin is entirely your own.
But according to tattoo artist Tamsin Holly, there are certain types of tattoos that often lead to regret. In a Tiktok video, she shared her thoughts on the subject and said that although tattoos ‘never go out of fashion’, in some situations she can predict that people will regret their choices.
« Outdoing tattoos is very popular right now, but I don’t understand why. Tattoos never go out of fashion. They’ve never been and will never become a trend. So if you watch videos saying tattoos are yt – forget it. This isn’t such a video, » she said, according to Daily Record.
Matching tattoos
The first point on Tamsin’s list is matching tattoos – especially the ones you get with a boyfriend you’ve been with for six weeks.
She says that matching tattoos with long -term partners, friends or family are fine, but one has to be careful about getting identical tattoos with people who may not be in one’s life for a long time.
« I’m not against tattoos with a partner, whether they match or not. But if you have only known the person for six weeks – unless you have been friends for years – you do not know them well enough. You will end up covering it. Wait for at least a year, » she said.
Tattoos affected by others
Tamsin says that many who regret their tattoo have been given a motive they did not choose, but which they were persuaded by the opinion of others – especially first -time customers.
« For example, if you want a tattoo on your wrist or forearm, and your family persuades you to get it on the inside of the upper arm or thigh – and you listen – then you end up regret it. Because you haven’t listened to yourself, » she said.
Holiday tattoos
Tamsin also warns against ‘bad’ holiday tattoos. What seems funny a wet evening often ends up in regret.
« I’ve fixed so many little red chilies. Decide while you’re sober and go to a professional, » she said.
