While the National Unity Party (UBP) Party Assembly meeting continued, President Ersin Tatar made a surprise visit and came to the UBP Sarayönü building. Tatar addressed the Party Assembly, gave important messages.
The UBP Party Assembly decided to support Ersin Tatar in the presidential elections. Addressing the party members in his speech, Tatar said, “The Presidency is an impartial authority, but I am a bravely UBP where I join,” he said.

President Tatar, who made evaluations about the election process, emphasized that they are standing against the idea of federation, “The federation means zero soldier, zero warranty. Türkiye’s guarantee means the abolition of the guarantee. Our national politics is the dominant equality. If an agreement will be, the TRNC will be a part of this agreement.
Tatar pointed out that the elections are essentially a struggle for ideas, “There are speeches made to give different messages to Türkiye in this election, but your party defends the federation. This election is the struggle for the collision of the two main ideas”.

President Tatar, who called for unity to the party, said that more communication with the public should be established during the election process, “We need to work on behalf of all of us not to leave the square empty. We know what we want, but there are pencils that will confuse the people on the other side. We will win this struggle, no one is doubtful.
