Tatar visited the Turkish Peace Forces Association of Veterans – Cyprus Newspaper

President Ersin Tatar visited the Turkish Peace Forces (TBK) Veterans Association in Famagusta.

According to a statement made by the Presidency, Tatar expressed his pleasure to meet with veterans on the occasion of Ramadan Feast and stressed that veterans have a great value for them.

Referring to the conflicts in the world, Tatar stated that the culture of conflict is very common and said that peace, peace and security in Cyprus are very important. Tatar stated that the problems can be overcome by acting in unity and solidarity and emphasized that being in solidarity with cooperation is a great source of power in the face of negativity.

Stating that the Cyprus Peace Operation is a turning point for the Turkish Cypriot people, President Tatar considered this solidarity as the first step in gaining independence.

Tatar said, « The federation book was closed. We are moving with our two -state solution model on the basis of sovereign equality. » he said. Referring to the importance of Türkiye’s support for the national policies of the TRNC, Tatar said that the greatest success achieved in recent years is strong ties established between Türkiye TRNC.

Emphasizing that they are ready for cooperation in the works that will benefit both people and the projects to be carried out, Tatar said that studies can be done on water, electricity, education, health and cultural heritage brought from Motherland Türkiye. Tatar emphasized that it will support all kinds of studies in order to increase welfare with the advantages of the geographical position of the Republic of Turkey and that this support is a very important step.

At the end of his speech, Tatar celebrated the Ramadan Feast of all veterans and expressed their gratitude to them.

Nusrettin Yuca, President of the TBK Veterans Association, expressed his satisfaction with the visit and thanked him on behalf of his person and Gazi friends and celebrated the feast.
