This year, a large tent was also installed on the fair site for those who prepare at home. “Many bake cakes at home or sculpt excellent dumplings. For such micro-entrepreneurs, this is a great chance to increase their client base,” the organizers explained this.


Olga Smirnova, head of the Entrepreneurship department of the Narva City Hall, noted that, despite the weather, she was at a high level, did not give up last year. “We still need to receive feedback from participating enterprises, but we can say that thousands of people visited the fair. The review camera, according to preliminary data, showed a one-time occupancy of the entire site at the level of 800 people,” says Smirnova.

The chef and owner of the Nora bar, Artem Romanov, noted in a conversation with the reporter of the Narva newspaper that this year there were noticeably more than before. “Despite the weather, we had to work gloriously. A huge plus of events – the presence of not only tents from cafes and restaurants, but also craftsmen. This expands the focus of the holiday, turns it into a real business card of the city,” Romanov said.


Barbecue – king

The main prize of the jury awarded Väikere Grill. Prizes were also awarded for “green thinking” and brand promotion. In total, 25 cafes and restaurants participated in a large -scale fair. As in previous years, the leader of the sales again became barbecue in all its manifestations.

The owner of Väikere Grill Oksana Razkak noted that barbecue from year to year remains the best -selling dish. “This year we built our menu around the juniper, it is a berry that can be in syrup and in the marinade. Every year we try to surprise not only the guests of the fair, but also, probably, this is the secret of our victories,” said Razkak.
