Taravari visits patients from Kocani tragedy treated in Istanbul

Health Minister Arben Taravari visited today the Ham Sakura Hospital in Istanbul, where two of the young people were injured in the fire in Kocani.

-Six patients were initially admitted to this hospital, four of whom were now released for home treatment after their health was improved. The two remaining patients, Martin and Boris, are in stable condition and continue their recovery, the statement said.

During the visit Taravari, accompanied by representatives of the Consulate of Macedonia in Istanbul, also met with the parents of the patients and expressed « support and solidarity in these difficult times ».

-He expressed special gratitude to Dr. Mustafa Turan and the consul of Northern Macedonia in Istanbul, Idriz Fazlioski, for the care and dedication. « Kocani’s fresh pain is somewhat mitigated by Martin and Boris, who are better and will soon be welcomed at home. Thank you, dear Turkey, for all care and hospitality, » Taravari said.

The Minister of Health yesterday in Edirne, Turkey, participated and addressed the Balkan Health Forum, saying that 165 patients from Macedonia in 2024 were treated in health institutions in Turkey.
