The attack of Yehora S. on Paweł Stępień, bodyguard Hala Odra in Szczecin, took place on June 2, 2024. The young Ukrainian citizen threw himself at a man with a combat, 21-centimeter knife.
The conflict occurred when The security guard tried to calm the young Ukrainian and his friend, who was very aggressive.
– They accosted other guests every now and then. They were so intrusive that I had to ask them three times from the premises. They came back every time – recalled Paweł Stępień in an interview with « Fakt ».

When one of the young Ukrainians began to jump after giant speakers, Mr. Paweł again tried to lead him out of the party. Yehor S. was then supposed to throw him at him, with a knife in his hand and inflict three blows. They hit the shoulder, in the bridge and in the hand.
– I fainted and, apart from the fact that it hurt terribly, I don’t remember anything – says « Fakt » Mr. Paweł. – Later I found out that I lost two and a half liters of blood. The doctor who made me an x -ray said that it was a miracle, that I was alive, because the knife blade stopped on the bridge, just two millimeters to the heart – he adds.
Despite the fact that immediately after the police detained, the court decided that the young bandit would be responsible for what he did, like an adult, the decision was later changed. The court decided that experts should assess on the basis of research or the 16-year-old will be responsible on the basis of the Penal Code or the Act on minors. For a year, however, nothing has been happening in the case, and Yehor S. was all the time in the youth educational center.
However, as it turned out, a teenager on May 12 this year. He escaped from the juvenile and so far is elusive. The cutter’s victim now lives in fear and trembles about the safety of his loved ones.
– I am surprised that for what he did to me, he did not get to another center. I learned that where he stayed, teenagers go for smaller offenses – says Paweł. « I’m afraid now that he may want to take revenge there and that my relatives may fall his victim. » He may feel unpunished, because since he has not met him so far, what will stop him? – asks the victim of the assault.

Although the boy can pose a threat to the environment, his image and data were not made public. Why?
– We did not publish the image of the sought -after teenager and we did not issue an official message in this matter because we are not the host of the proceedings. It is the District Court in Szczecin and this decision was made by the court. We only have an order to bring the sought -after teenager back to the educational institution from which he escaped – she told « Fakt » nadkom.
