The crew reacted quickly, trying to master the situation, but the man did not want to listen to any requests, he was aggressive towards staff and fellow passengers.

The situation got out of control when a Jordan citizen moved towards other doors, wanting to open it. Passengers and the crew managed to overpower him, unfortunately it was not without incidents – an attack on the airlines employee took place.
After landing in Sydney, the man was detained by the Australian Federal Police and he was quickly charged. Now he will most likely bear the strict consequences of his actions. He is threatened with long -term deprivation of liberty. However, the court will decide on the dimension of the penalty.
