SV fails Finnmark, no to 420 kv line
In a post on Facebook 1 day ago, SV writes his parliamentary candidate on its FB profile that it is important that East Finnmark gets more power and that we get the 420 kv line built east.
He writes this after meeting the county mayor Bønå from the Right in Vadsø. He also visited Vadsø Mayor Wenche Pedersen.
When Finnmark SV supports the development of the 420 kv line to East Finnmark, they fail both nature, reindeer husbandry and local communities they say they will fight for.
This line is not about the safe power supply to people. It is about facilitating power -intensive industry, more wind power and data centers. That’s what the big companies want, not we who live here.
SV claims they are against wind power on land, and for Sami rights. Nevertheless, they support the infrastructure that makes such interventions possible. It is not connected.
You cannot be both for nature and facilitating it.
Finnmark does not need more high -voltage monster masts through untouched nature.
We need local energy preparedness, investments in existing networks, and a policy that puts nature, local business, people, plains and fjords first.
