Sutivan, a small place on Brac, hosts a cycling race « Use Vitar »

This year’s « UVI VITAR » race reveals Brac’s attractions – from the opposite direction

The paths of the « Insert Vitar » race are long enough to make you tired, but short enough that they will not completely exhaust you, and offer the opportunity to enjoy every kilometer of picturesque beauty of Brac and you, now world -famous cyclists friendly destinations.

On wings or better with the wind in the back Last year’s victory at Croatian Tourism Days in Active Tourism category This cycling marathon announces new paths and new dynamics – all the trails are driving in the opposite direction! This is a unique opportunity for the participants of the race to get to know Brac Island from a completely different perspective, but the race is even more exciting, the ascents and singles are further spicy, and everything is completely turned upside down!

Start and target For all categories and lengths of the route (Bonaca, Vitar, Bura, Gravel) is in Sutivan. Bura, the longest route, immediately turns towards Milna, runs right by the sea, and then on the wild macadam trails to the mystical desert monastery – the desert of Blac. The competitors will then cope with the raw ascent of Vidov Gora, the highest point of the Adriatic Islands, followed by the adrenaline, fast, technical and wild descent – all the way to the finish line in Sutivan. Route Gravel It mostly pursues the route of the longest path, but with fewer technical details, and Vitar and Bonaca routes are adapted to more recreational cyclists in length and difficulty.

In addition to the route introduced last year and category, you will also have three dynamic and exciting MTB routes available this year: Bura 70+, Vitar 40+ and Bonaca 20+, and in the e-Koles category you can choose between Bura 70+ or ​​Vitar 40+ trails. We are convinced that this year will also be paid special attention to the popular children’s race, which will be Sunday.

Except for the change of direction of the route, everything else remains that visitors have loved in recent years, unchanged: spectacular landscape, relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and unforgettable society. In addition to the traditional Expo Zone, for all participants, lunch and gala dinner with a rich entertainment program after the race – from Braška delicacies to a concert and a rich raffle.
