Suspected of killing youth shooting in Porto surrendered to the Judicial Police

A 31-year-old man suspected of shooting a 24-year-old on May 4 in Porto surrendered at the Judicial Police facilities, accompanied by a lawyer. The suspect was arrested.

In a statement, the PJ indicates that the 31 -year -old man is suspected of three qualified homicide crimes, one consummate and two in the attempted form, a crime of damage and a prohibited weapon detention crime.

On the date of the occurrence, May 4, the PSP Metropolitan Command of Porto revealed that the murder occurred around 5:00 am, next to a bar, in the Porto Zone of Porto, after clashes between two groups.

In origin they will have been disagreements between rival groups that will have started inside the bar and later joined the same street « more than 50 people ».

In the statement on Wednesday, the PJ declares that the facts under investigation followed a altercation between a family member of the suspect and the victim, inside a night fun establishment.

In the course of this change, the perpetrator, armed with a forbidden weapon, fired a fatal shot in the direction of the victim.

The victim was still placed in a car by friends in order to be immediately transported to the hospital. However, the suspect fired new shots at the direction, leading his disappointment and preventing help.

The investigation police statement admits that the other occupants of the vehicle only « were not hit by chance. »
