After the braking through thunder and heavy downpours, the oppressive heat says goodbye from Baden-Württemberg for the time being. While up to 36 degrees most recently were measured on the Rhine, the expected refreshing “rain shower” ensures noticeable cooling before the start of the week.
The experts from the German Weather Service promise: In the coming days it will no longer be muggy and hot, but pleasantly and significantly fresher – but also with steadily increasing temperatures.
Nights become cooler and more relaxing
Because the summer warmth is not beaten: on Monday, after lighter showers from the Alb towards Allgäu, temperatures between 20 degrees in the higher locations and 26 degrees between Mannheim and Karlsruhe are expected. « It gets significantly less warm than before, » said a meteorologist.
With a lot of sun, steadily increasing temperature and only a few loose veil and spring clouds, it continues. On Tuesday, the mercury column in the thermometer initially rises to up to 29 degrees, Wednesday could also be 31 degrees on the Rhine, a little less in the Allgäu. Until the coming weekend, however, the DWD trend will again show temperatures well above this brand.
The coming nights are also less humid and sometimes clear – ideal conditions to take a deep breath and recover from the heat of the past few days.
