Summer series « Learn from the neighbors » for Franco-German Journalist Prize nominated
« What can we learn from our neighbors? » The volunteers of the Augsburg generals followed this question last summer. The resulting series has now been nominated for the Franco-German Journalist Award in the « Documentation » category.
In nine articles, the authors devoted themselves to the special features of the neighboring countries of Germany. Topics included French style, luck in Denmark or mobility in Luxembourg. While some stories described tangible solutions that potentially be transferred to the region, others rather caught a feeling or attitude to life, from which the region might learn something. The aim was to show the beautiful, connecting side of the continent compared to the other news situation without transfiguring or beautifying. The texts appeared in the weekend journal of the Augsburg Allgemeine last August.
