Suddenly his own car was driving past him
On Sunday afternoon, there was an appearance in East Jutland, which, most of all, could remind you of something from an action movie, just without the hero’s elegance and with the effectiveness of the police as the crucial element.
In the small town of Mårslet south of Aarhus, a car owner had to see his Volkswagen Amarok disappear from sight, just as he had gone inside to eat.
It writes East Jutland Police in one 24 -hour report
It was around 5.30pm that the owner had left the car in a field in connection with work on a shelter. From the window he could suddenly see his car moving.
At first, he thought the car might have been trilled, but that image changed rapidly as the engine sounded and the vehicle accelerated away.
East Jutland Police were immediately contacted and a message of the stolen vehicle was sent out to the patrols in the area.
Just over an hour later, at 18.20, a patrol car caught sight of the wanted car. The car was stopped and the driver, a man without a valid driver’s license, was arrested without drama.
He had not only borrowed the car without permission, but had also taken euphoric drugs and thus drove in an affected state. The overall accounts of the short drive therefore appear to be pretty costly.
« He can look forward to a number of charges, including use theft, drug driving and driving without a driver’s license, » says East Jutland Police, who in the usual style put an effective stop for the spontaneous car theft.
Thus, the Sunday trip for the unfortunate driver ended with a meeting in the back seat of the patrol car rather than the view of any field road.
