Strzelce Opolskie. 11-year-old Patrycja was found. Disturbing circumstances
To disappear Patrycja, a 11-year-old resident of Dziedkowice near Strzelce Opolskie (province Opole), occurred on Tuesday, May 13 around 12.30. The girl was visited by grandparents and was supposed to go home. When Patrycja’s mother returned from work, she didn’t find her daughter there. She felt a prick of anxiety that increased when it turned out that no one in the family or friends knew what happened to the 11-year-old.

The police in Strzelce Opolskie initiated the search for a girl. Firefighters – both professional and volunteers – and residents of Dziewkowice – also started to action. What could happen to Patrycja? The officers from the very beginning excluded the hypothesis about parental kidnapping. Others, however, were intensively checked and verified.
« There is a real threat to life and health, » she told « Fakt » on Wednesday, May 14, young asp. Dorota Janać from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Strzelce Opolskie.
Soon the Child Alert procedure was initiated to disseminate the child’s disappearance as soon as possible to increase the chances of finding him and recognize the perpetrator. Alert RCB was sent to residents all over Poland about the search for an 11-year-old. The breakthrough in the case took place the next day.

Police on Thursday, May 15 before 6 am through the website X informed about finding 11-year-old Patrycja and the cancellation of the so-called Child alert. Soon disturbing details began to come out.
As reported by Agnieszka Żyłka, a press officer of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Opole, the officers found the teenager at 5 am in one of the apartments in Silesia. « Patrycja is just transported to the Opole region in the company of policemen, » she added.
The police informed TVN24 that they detained a 24-year-old in connection with the service. The young man was to be captured around 4 am at the workplace. Policemen are now examining whether the meeting of a man and an 11-year-old was voluntary and how long in what circumstances the man and the girl met for the first time.
Not only policemen from Strzelec Opolskie, but also Opole, Katowice and Łódź as well as officers of the Central Bureau of Cybercrime were involved in the search for a girl. A very helpful, as Commissioner Agnieszka Żyłka admitted, also turned out to be a Child Alert, after which a lot of information came to the services in connection with the case.
