Hekken have been placed at the festival park in Werchter since last week and that can only mean one thing: the site for Rock Werchter is being prepared for the festival season. The park is closed to the public during the structure and demolition.
The fences have been set and forklifts and workmen are busy diligently, that can only mean something: the structure of the festival meadow in Werchter has begun. The first tents have been set at the entrance and the sail for the Main Stage is already ready. « The zone is now officially a yard, » confirms the organization. That is why the park is closed to the public from 1 May to 1 August – when the demolition works are on it.

Unless you have tickets for TW Classic, Rock Werchter or Werchter Boutique of course. Because, as usual, many thousands of music lovers will drop to the village on the Dyle this summer. With TW Classic, the festival summer will be officially opened on 28 June. The famous British pop singer Robbie Williams is the main act of the evening. Barely a week later it is also time for the main chock after the starter. World artists such as Linkin Park, Kings of Leon and Olivia Rodrigo are reviewed at Rock Werchter. Werchter Boutique will also take place on July 12, including Bazart and Imagine Dragons. (RC)
