Strengthening health services – altaposten.no

Alta Frp works continuously for better health services to the Alta region. In social media, it may seem that only patient focus works for better health services for the people of Alta region and Finnmark.

Frp has worked for better health services for the region long before patient focus was intended as a list for the Storting.

Unfortunately, none of us have had a breakthrough for better health services or emergency services for our residents.

Alta Frp works continuously for better health services to the Alta region.

Alta Frp emphasizes that we are actively and targeted working to strengthen the health services in Alta and the surrounding area for the 30000 inhabitants who have far too long and unsafe the way to hospital. Through dialogue, influence and political work, we ensure that our local needs are clearly evident to the Storting and decision makers and actively use our Frp colleagues at the Storting.

There is no doubt that health is a top priority for us. Although not every conversation or initiative ends up in the newspapers, this work is done all the time – both behind the scenes and public.

We focus on:

  • Increased capacity and structure of local health services, including hospitals and regulars.

  • Better infrastructure to ensure accessibility for everyone in the region.

  • Stronger cooperation with national authorities to make a breakthrough for Alta and Finnmark.

Alta Frp will continue to push for a health policy that ensures security and good treatment for our citizens. This is a work we take seriously – every day.

We have sent a case to the municipal council to work for a private clinic to Alta. Unfortunately, the mayor never put up the case on the case map.

Unfortunately for the people, none of us have had a breakthrough for hospitals to Alta in the Storting.

Albert Georg Vekve

Municipal council representative for Alta Frp
