Strassen’s volleyball players celebrate the double

The team of VC Strasse remains a power in Luxembourg’s volleyball scene. On Saturday she celebrated the fifth championship title in a row and the 19th in the club’s history. The team of coach Massimo Tarantini once again prevailed against Volley Bartringen in the final series. It won the decisive third final in the Center Atert 3-0 in Bartringen.

Strassen is therefore a Luxembourg record champion. For the team it is also the fourth double profit in a row. At the beginning of March, she also won the cup victory.

This time Bartringen, as the leadership leader of the regular season, had gone into the final series of the league with home rights. The first game two weeks ago won street 3-0, then the challenger prevailed 3: 2 in an exciting duel. The third game took place again in Center Atert. Strassen won the first set with 25:20, the next with 25:21. Bartringen fought, but made more mistakes than the determined defending champion. The third set went well to streets with 25:13.

The women’s championship had ended the previous week with the title for VC Mamer.
